The Kith's Publications
|
The
Kith of Yggdrasil has two regular
publications, both of which are free to subscribing
members. Sunwheel is the Kith's regular
quarterly journal exclusively for the membership and
Frostfire is a monthly newsletter for anyone following (or
merely interested in) the European Heathen faith. Additionally,
the Kith publishes Irminsul its annual almanac and
occasional booklets and / or collections of articles concerned
with Odinism and related subject matter.
While Sunwheel and Irminsul are only available to
subscribing members, Frostfire and other KOY
publications can be bought by anyone. To give a flavour of what
they contain sample copies of all current publications
are now online and can be inspected by clicking the links below.

Sunwheel
typically contains:

News and Events: A
round-up of what KOY members have been getting up to in the
last quarter - reports from Blots and ceremonies, from Pub Moots and
Discussion Groups, and from the Special Interest Groups. Individuals
also often let us know what they've been doing in their own
practices of the faith, or within the community at large.

Forthcoming Events:
In order for members to attend events, they need to know about them
in advance! While this site can detail regular scheduled events open
to the general public, more specific events for members are listed
in Sunwheel. If members let us know what they have planned,
Sunwheel can tell the world!

A Magazine Section:
Some of our members enjoy writing about their faith and the magazine
section usually contains articles by them (and some guest
contributors) on how the faith affects daily life or on more
theoretical matters. The magazine section also prints letters sent
to the Kith about whatever it is that people want to say.
Incidentally, if you email the Kith at our usual address, and don't
mind if we publish your mail in Sunwheel, please tell us that
when you write.
Only members of the
Kith can receive printed copies of Sunwheel and our Membership
page explains how you can to join us. However, a
complete copy of the edition immediately prior to the current
one will be posted on this site every

Frostfire is
a more general monthly newsletter published by the Kith for all
those following (or just interested by) the European Heathen faith. It
contains a wealth of hearth information, forthcoming events listings
and other news. Clicking
